There are many questions being asked about the iPhone 6s. Is it worth buying? The recent security issues have also bugged some people? Is it the best phone money can buy?
Full disclosure.. I wont be able to answer all of them. Hopefully apple comes with an update that fixes the security issues.Apple has a huge security team working on it.So you are well taken care of.The best thing to do is to secure all your Apple pay accounts with a third party app.Password Manager on App Store is a good option.Another way to prevent hacks is to turn off Siri.
The Phone
The design of an iPhone has always been a masterpiece.iPhone 6s has kept to it.The all metallic body, the beautiful rounded edges can stun anyone.The feel in the hand is astounding. The buttons on the side have a good tactile feel to it.All this makes the phone slippery which is the only downside.The plastic antenna bars may be a put off for some people but lets be logical.There is People with sweaty arms be ready to embrace those sweat marks on the back.The camera protrudes out ,but its not of much of a concern given the sapphire glass that protects the lens. The best thing would be to slap on a case which should solve most of your problems. A skin could also be a good option.The whole package make makes you feel like a million bucks.Apple also gives a one year warranty.During the warranty there are no repairs carried out by apple, just replacements.
The Software and Internals
IOS is a beautiful,simple and aesthetically pleasing..There are no stutters or lags.Everything is super quick given that it rocks an A9 chip.Touch ID is super super quick.Its so quick that you cant actually read your notifications once you press the home button.For notifications,just use the on/off button in the side.Force touch is a cool addition but i dint find myself using it as much.Camera has been improved with the 12 MP sensor.Camera software is super quick.No shutter lag of any sorts were observed.All the apps are perfectly optimized for the software unlike Android.Overall,IOS is a superstar.
My Personal Experience
Coming from a moto G, i felt a huge bump in quality.I loved it initially.As i kept using it,i started noticing some faults.The battery has been the biggest let down for me.I was getting just 4 hours of screen on time on aeroplane mode.That would decrease once i switch 4G on.Apple,it wouldn’t matter if you increased the thickness of the phone to improve battery life.Hopefully, iPhone 7 would improve battery performance.Thankfully the phone recharges very fast which makes up for some of the disappointment.Coming from a budget android phone,i feel i’m pretty satisfied.I have always been an android fanboy for now i will stay one.I would prefer to have a galaxy S7 over iphone any day unless apple changes my opinion in the coming days.
