YouTube RED???

YouTube has always been the google of videos. It is the largest video streaming platform on the planet.YouTube was bought by Google some years ago.

Now lets talk about Google.Google makes most of its profits from ads. This has always been the case since its inception and in my belief will remain the same in the years to come.Ads is the backbone of google. So when google bought YouTube,i kinda knew what was coming our way.ADS!!!!! LOTS OF IT!!!! The ads did not come immediately though, which was surprising.Eventually YouTube started displaying video ads and nowadays every video on YouTube has ads.So the basic idea behind showing ads is to make money so that YouTube can go about their daily activities  and also pay the content creators. The method by which YouTuber’s make money would be published in another blog some other time.

Lets me be honest,I spend hours on YouTube every single day.I watch Vlogs,Tech reviews and various other intresting things. The only time i curse YouTube is when those stupid long videos which could not be skipped comes on.FYI:There’s a way to overcome this and its very simple.Just refresh the page.It would the load some other add which could be skipped in 5 secs or if your lucky there wouldn’t be any add the next time. Please don’t let YouTube know this.Just kidding,I am pretty sure with the sheer number of Ivy League college graduates at their disposal,YouTube already knows this loophole and they are working around it.

Enough of blabbing around. So what is YouTube Red?YouTube Red is a subscription service form Youtube and what it basically does is remove the ads. This felling of watching Youtube without ads is nostalgic. It brings back memories of my dial up connection that i had at home during the 2005’s (My family is not tech savvy. When everyone had broadband,my computer still used to squeak and growl to connect to the inernet). The other big features that they have included is that any video could be saved (Even videos of record labels). The other feature available is background play.Let me give you an example:So if you want to calculate something while your watching a video song, you could close Youtube while the song still plays and then do your calculation on the calculator app and then come back to youtube. Basically your song was running in the background. It is the same feature that modern media player apps like MX player incorporate.

All this could be availed for $9.99 per month. So if your feeling flushed they do take a dip but the refresh trick works most of the time.
